New Chamber Connection Newsletter Advertising Contract Available

Due to staffing changes, the new advertising contract duration is now April 2018-March 2019. The Chamber Connection Newsletter is distributed the last week of each month (Example: April’s newsletter will be distributed the week of March 26th). Ad copy must be received by the deadline on the 15th of each month. (March 15th deadline to be in April newsletter) Advertisers have the option of changing their ad monthly as long as new ad copy is received by the deadline. The Ambassador Club of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is very pleased to honor Jack Weck with the March 2018 Commitment to Community Award. Jack Weck has been a lifelong resident of Belleville and is a dedicated member of several organizations in our community. Jack completed 50 years of employment at the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate in Belleville with his last position as Donor Events Advisor. Jack retired in May of 2010 and has continued to help the Oblates in his retirement years. Jack Weck received the DeMazenod Award in February 1998 which is given to lay people who show exemplary service to the ministry of the Missionary Oblate Fathers. In 2013, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital received a grant from the Missionary Oblates Sharing Fund. The purpose of the grant was to support the…

The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce awarded five area leaders in the community Thursday, February 1st at their Annual Dinner and Silent Auction held at the St. Clair County Event Center. Joy Prigge (Dieterich Bank), Debra Kruep (Hoernis Autobody), and Patty Gregory (Art on the Square) were awarded individual awards and Kaskaskia Engineering Group, LLC. and Egyptian Workspace Partners were awarded Business Excellence Awards. Prigge was awarded 2017 Ambassador of the Year, Kruep was named the 2017 Leadership Belleville Alumni Award and Gregory received the 2017 Citizen of the Year Award. Prigge, Vice President of Dieterich Bank and winner of the Ambassador of the Year award, served as Chair of the Ambassador Committee in 2017, coordinated all the Ambassador Luncheons and has volunteered at various Chamber events throughout the year.
