The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is excited to get to host our Annual Dinner & Silent Auction on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at The EDGE in Belleville. This will be the Belleville Chamber’s first indoor event since March 2020. The event is normally held in January but was postponed this year due to COVID-19 regulations. The last one was held in January 2020 with over 400 in attendance. This year’s event will be able to host 300+ while keeping to current event regulations by spacing out at The EDGE using their upstairs event space and streaming live to their theaters where other guests will be able to watch from the comfort of their lounge chairs on the big screen. Belleville Main Street and the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Alex Matthews as the new Main Street Manager. He has hit the ground running and will be working with our Main Street Committee to promote the Downtown District. We have a unique and vibrant downtown and their focus is to showcase it to those who live and work in the area. Alex has worked in attraction/tourism/hospitality marketing in and around Belleville for over 12 years. He previously worked as the Marketing Director for the company that opened the Hofbrauhaus in Belleville. This initiative calls upon our legislators across the state to prioritize economic relief for the business community in the wake of a devastating year.
