This week, the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce’s 21st Leadership Belleville class kicks off with their Leadership Retreat. It is a two-day retreat where they begin their leadership journey that will continue for the next nine months. Healthcare & CSA Committee selling raffle tickets for high school scholarship fund

The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce’s Healthcare & Community Service Agency Committee is selling raffle tickets now through September 5th to raise money for local high school student college scholarships. The prize consists of various gift cards totaling a value over $500. Gift cards include but are not limited to Bel-Air Bowl, Grimm & Gorly, Outback, Peel Wood Fired Pizza, Perfectly Plated, Shrine Restaurant, Starbucks, & more. Tickets are one for $5 or five for $20. Tickets will have available for purchase at the August Business After Hours and the drawing will take place at the event. Need not be present to win. Belleville Chamber School Kids Welcome To Get Free Backpacks August 7

On Wednesday, August 7th, 2019, the Chamber’s Education Committee will host their annual Back to School Fun Fair at Belleville West High School from 5 – 7 p.m. for participating Chamber member school (list below) students. Families in attendance will receive valuable information from our business leaders while participating in activities that will allow them to leave with a backpack full of school supplies in preparation for the new school year. The event will celebrate the new school year with games, activities, free dental exams & physicals, and more. Nearly 200 women joined The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce for the second annual EmpowHER Women’s Conference at the Gateway Center in Collinsville on June 19 along with three other area chamber’s including O’Fallon-Shiloh, Collinsville, and Troy, Maryville, St. Jacob, Marine. One of the most important tools in the world of business is the strength of empowerment.
