Wendy J Pfeil, IOM of Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce Graduates from Institute for Organization Management

Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is pleased to announce that Wendy J Pfeil, IOM, President/CEO, of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce, has graduated from the program and has received the recognition of IOM. Awarded to all graduates of the Institute program, the IOM Graduate Recognition signifies the individual’s completion of 96 hours of course instruction in nonprofit management. In addition, participants can earn credit hours toward the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) or Certified Association Executive (CAE) certifications. 70th Annual Enlisted Dinner Honors Men & Women of Scott Air Force Base & Four Veterans

After having to cancel the 70th Annual Enlisted Dinner the day of the event in March of 2020 as the pandemic started, the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce’s Belle-Scott Committee was finally able to host their 70th Enlisted Dinner on Thursday, November 18 at The Shrine Banquet Center to honor the enlisted men and women of Scott Air Force Base and thank them for their bravery, commitment, and sacrifice to our nation. We want our members to know that there is a process noted below where employers can register through IllinoisJobLink.com to post their open positions and Indeed will pick them up at NO COST! More than 40 vendors prepare chili dishes for the annual Chili Cook-off

After modifying last year’s event, thousands of locals are gearing up for the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce’s 37th annual Chili Cook-Off, sponsored by Bud Light and Serra Honda O’Fallon, in Downtown Belleville on October 8 & 9 from 11:00am to 10:30pm both days. What began with just a few vendors on one block of East Main Street in downtown Belleville is now one of Belleville’s largest events celebrating the culinary creations from over 40 vendors, representing individuals, local organizations and area businesses.
