Wendy J. Pfeil named Executive Director of The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce

Belleville, IL., May 24, 2016 –  Wendy J. Pfeil has been named the next Executive Director of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce, replacing John Lengerman, retiring May 31, 2016.

Ms. Pfeil, who has a degree in Accounting, has worked at the Chamber for 8 years and currently serves as the Director of Membership Development.  She has been a tireless advocate in developing and maintaining the strong membership base the Chamber now enjoys.   She has collaborated with John Lengerman and the Chamber staff in building the capacity and influence of the Chamber, enhancing existing or introducing new events, and supporting mutually beneficial networks and relationships among business, government, education and not-for-profit organizations.

The Executive Committee of Jeff Dosier, Mike McManus, Tracy McCollum, Bob Mueller and Kevin Richter are pleased that Ms. Pfeil has agreed to accept this new position.  “After a thorough search process she emerged as the best candidate for the job. We look forward to working with her in her new role as we continue to grow and strengthen the Chamber.”

Ms. Pfeil will officially assume her new role June 1, 2016.
