Old_Scott_Field_GateScott Air Force Base, located in the Greater Belleville area, is a global mobility and transportation hub for the Department of Defense. With close proximity to the Base, the Greater Belleville community is greatly impacted by their presence. The Base’s economic impact exceeds $3 billion dollars, as it provides more roughly 6,800 indirect jobs and brings families and retired military to live, work and play in the surrounding communities.

The Chamber has made it a part of our mission to create and maintain a strong relationship with Scott Air Force Base specifically through our Belle-Scott Committee and our Education Committee’s participation in the Belleville Dorm Partnership.
